Pre-Race Packet Pickup

PreRace packet pickup on 4/18 annd 4/19 is brought to you by the Schuylkill County Visitors' Bureau!

Pre-Race packet pickup will be conveniently located at the American Hose Fire Station 70. The American Hose Fire Station 70 is centrally located and less than 2 blocks from the brewery and start line. 

All participants will receive their race bib (with timing chip attached), Lager Jogger race t-shirt and Lager Jogger pint glass at packet pickup!

There will also be limited packet pickup located close to the start/finish area by the Yuengling Brewery on Saturday, April 20 prior to the race from 7:00am-8:30am.

Parking for Packet Pickup:

Please use the approved parking locations when arriving to get your packet. Metered street parking is available and costs .75 per hour. Parking is enforced Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. Pre-race packet pickup parking is available at the following locations:

-Yuengling Brewery Gift Shop lot (N 5th Street & Norwegian Ave). Parking is free.

-Arch Street Lot (Arch Street & Centre Street). Metered parking is available using coins or the Park Mobile app.

-Capitol Street Parking Garage (Race Street and Capitol Ave). Parking is available using the Park Mobile app.

WE WILL ASSIGN YOUR YOUR BIB NUMBER AT PACKET PICKUP!

We have a new system in place and we will be assigning your bib number on the spot.

 

Packet Pickup FAQ's:

Q: Can someone else pick up my race packet for me at packet pickup?


A: Yes! We are here to make your life easier. Someone else may pickup your packet as long as you provide them with some form of verification to show our staff.

Accepted Items:

-Copy of the bib number email
-Copy of ID
 
Q: If I am 21+ and am planning on drinking on race day, can I get my ID checked and have my wristband placed on me so that I don't have to wait in the ID check line on race day?  Can I also receive a drinking bracelet for a fellow Lager Jogger who could not make it to packet pickup?
 
A. We will be checking IDs and placing drinking wristbands on you at packet pickup on Friday, April 19 only.  We cannot give you a drinking bracelet for other Lager Joggers for whom you may be picking up their packets since our staff will have to physically put it on you.  Those (21+) who come to packet pickup on Thursday or cannot make it to packet pickup on Friday must get their ID checked on race day and have a wristband placed on them on race day at the ID check station.   
 

Q: What vendors will be present at pre-race packet pickup?


A: Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k Bondi Bands/Merchandise, Team Red White & Blue, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Run Ride & Hike PA (Friday only), State Farm Insurance/Quotes for Good Program, Fleet Feet West Reading, & New Balance.  Bring your cash and credit cards!
Fleet Feet West Reading will be at pre-race packet pickup at the American Fire Hose on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19 with their Fit ID scanner to measure feet and discuss best shoe options for your needs. Whether you’re a walker, runner or anything in between, stop by and get scanned while they will be there!

Virtual Race Bags: Going Out on Monday 4/15 ! Check Your Email!

 

Our virtual race bag allows us to better serve our runners with enhanced deals AND help the environment! All runners will receive an email to the email address you used when registering for the race one week prior to the race with a personalized virtual race bag.  You will also receive an email reminder the week after the race.

Runners will be able to redeem coupons and special race weekend offers by printing or activating on their smartphones.

New Balance and Fleet Feet West Reading Shakeout Run on Friday 4/19

Our Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k official race partners, New Balance and Fleet Feet West Reading will be doing a Shake Out Happy Hour Run again this year as part of Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k festivities on Friday 4/19 at 4pm starting in front of the Yuengling gift shop. The crew will help you try and figure out the right New Balance for you! The group will be coming to the gift shop after the run around 4:30pm and Fleet Feet will be buying a round of first drinks for runners. We hope to see many of you there!
